BRUTAL JOHN: Save the World from Alien Cryptotechnocrats in this Awesome Old School FPS

Brutal John is an old-school indie first-person shooter action game that is being produced by OldSchool Laws Interactive and which at the moment does not have a set release date, however a demo version of the game is available on the Steam platform. In Brutal John, the world has been completely dominated by a terrible alien army, led by the cruel tyrant Luziliano. He is the main crypto mining boss in the universe, and has conquered the land through his specialized technologies in this area. But only one man can stop him, and that man is Brutal John.

Just with this synopsis above we already have an idea of which famous game of the 90s Brutal John was strongly inspired: Duke Nukem 3D. Brutal John took inspiration from several classic games of the genre, in addition to Duke Nukem, such as Soldiers of Fortune, Doom, and Serious Sam. In terms of gameplay, it's pretty much the same basic style as these other games: explore various stages and kill whatever comes your way. Apparently, the game intersperses with third-person moments, which take place in stages where there is a need to use vehicles, for example. As for the graphics, Brutal John presents a very well produced and colorful look, added to a cel-shaded visual style that gives the game a certain personality.
