Liquidators: Survive on the eye of The Worst Nuclear Disaster of History.

Liquidators is a first-person thriller indie game that allows you to live an experience based on real events. The game is set in 1986, in the Soviet Union, at the exact moment where occurred one of the most terrible Ambiental Disasters of History: The Chernobyl Power Plant Accident. To contain the radiation and prevent that it will be released on all Europe, you control Alexei Ananenko, Boris Baranov and Valeri Bezpalov, three operators in a mission of turning on the valves that will drain the water excess that can unstabilize the reactor core even more.

Each one of these operators has specific abilities that can bring benefits or losses during the gameplay. The game has an atmosphere that allows you to experience all the anguish and anxiety inside a power plant on a brink of an explosion, from the radioactive effects to even the sensation of anticipation, where you don't know what happens next. In terms of graphics, the game presents a 3D visual but with pixelated effects, which evokes the epoch, 1986, at the same moment of the nuclear accident.

The guys from 1986 CL3 created an excellent experience, being creepy and didactic at the same time. In my opinion, the game, although short, gives very well the experience of fear that the three soviet heroes passed alone on the Power Plant during the accident. I would put this game on the list of best indie games that I've played, no doubt.

Liquidators é um jogo indie de suspense em primeira pessoa que lhe permite vivenciar um evento baseado em fatos reais. O jogo se passa em 1986, na União Soviética, no exato momento em que ocorreu um dos mais terríveis desastres ambientais da história: O acidente na usina de Chernobyl. Para conter o avanço da radiação e evitar que ela se espalhe por toda a Europa, você controla Alexei Ananenko, Boris Baranov e Valeri Bezpalov, três operadores soviéticos com a missão de acionar as válvulas que vão drenar o excesso de água que pode desestabilizar ainda mais o núcleo do reator.

Cada um dos operários possui habilidades peculiares que vão trazer benefícios e prejuízos durante a gameplay. O jogo possui todo um clima que lhe permite vivenciar toda a angústia e ansiedade em uma usina prestes a explodir, desde os efeitos da radiação até mesmo a sensação de antecipação, em que você não sabe o que pode acontecer em seguida. Em termos de gráficos, o jogo apresenta um visual em 3D mas com efeitos pixelados, evocando um pouco o lembrete de que o jogo se passa em 1986, no momento do acidente nuclear.

O pessoal da 1986 CL3 criou uma excelente experiência, assustadora e didática ao mesmo tempo. Na minha opinião o jogo, apesar de curto, proporciona bem a experiência do terror que os três heróis soviéticos passaram sozinhos na usina durante o acidente. Eu colocaria como um dos melhores jogos indie que já joguei sem dúvida.
