PURGATORY PRISON: Avoid the Warden and Find a Way to Escape from Prison in this Survival Game
Purgatory Prison is a first-person survival horror indie game produced by Matthew Ager (same as Food for Pigs) and published on July 26 of that year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In Purgatory Prison, you have just departed this life. Being a person who was neither good nor bad, you end up waking up in a prison located in Purgatory. Your goal is to find a way out of prison before The Warden catches you and suffers a fate worse than prison.
The game is very short and can be completed in a few minutes. Visually, the graphics have a low-poly aesthetic, which is very reminiscent of Sony's 32-bit console games, the PlayStation 1. In terms of gameplay, it's pretty much what you'd expect from many indie horror games. You just walk around using the WASD keys, observe with the Mouse. And use other keys to interact. When leaving the cell, you find lockers located at various points: they are The Warden's hiding points, which can be accessed by pressing the Spacebar.
