Rubi: The Wayward Mira - Game Download

The Metroidvania genre has produced good fruits on indie game scenery for many years. One or another time, good indie games of this genre have appeared, always with some new feature in your progression mechanic. Rubi: The Wayward Mira is one of these games.

Produced and distributed by Wayward Games, this indie game puts us on controlling Rubi, an Mira, an alien race from a planet on brink of extinction that is transported, out of blue, to Earth and embarks on a journey to go back to your home and save your people, even if, for that, have to face many of your Mira brothers that were corrupted by greed.

In terms of graphics, the game is very beautiful and so nicely made, from scenery to the characters' movement. They made a great job here. It seems that this game has many resemblances with the Metroid series, especially Metroid: Zero Mission, of Game Boy Advance. The soundtrack is very diverse and combines with the ambiance of the extensive world. I don't call it spectacular, but it has your beauty.

The gameplay is balanced: Rubi can get abilities and improve mana and health by looking for items spread on the world or by points distribution every time she levels up. The interesting thing here is that gameplay is non-linear, you can enjoy the game by playing the way that you can think better.

O gênero Metroidvania tem gerado bons frutos no cenário de jogos indie nesses últimos anos. Vez ou outra têm aparecido bons jogos do gênero, sempre com alguma coisa nova em sua mecânica de progressão. Rubi: The Wayward Mira é um desses jogos.

Produzido e distribuído pela Wayward Games, o jogo nos coloca no controle de Rubi, uma Mira, uma raça alienígena de um planeta à beira da extinção que do nada é transportada para a Terra e embarca em uma jornada para voltar para seu lar e salvar seu povo, mesmo que para isso tenha que enfrentar muitos de seus irmãos Miras que se corromperam pela ganância.

Em termos de gráficos, o jogo é muito bonito e bem caprichado, desde os cenários até mesmo às movimentações dos personagens. Fizeram um ótimo trabalho aqui. Ao que parece, o jogo possui muitas semelhanças com a franquia Metroid, especialmente Metroid: Zero Mission, do Game Boy Advance. A trilha sonora é bem diversa e combina com o ambiente dos cenários. Não considero espetacular, mas ela possui seu charme.

A jogabilidade é bem equilibrada: Rubi pode adquirir habilidades e aumentar Mana e Saúde procurando por itens espalhados pelo mundo ou por meio de distribuição de pontos cada vez que sobe de nível. O interessante aqui é que a jogabilidade não é linear, você pode aproveitar o jogo jogando da forma que achar melhor.
