SANITY'S ATMOSPHERE: Escape from Prison (and an Unknown Threat) in this Horror Game

Sanity's Atmosphere is a short first-person survival horror indie game produced by Tudypie and published on August 10 of this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In the game, you wake up in a completely empty prison, with no idea how you got there. Without even thinking twice, you look for a way to get out of there, but you end up realizing that you are not alone... and apparently, it is someone (or something) extremely dangerous...

The game was produced for a game jam provided for the Haunted PS1 community, the Summer of Shivers 2021. It does not have a visual style similar to other games produced for the game jam or by the community itself (32-bit visuals). In this one, the graphics are a little more actual, although being low-poly and without resorting to realism. The gameplay, as in almost every indie horror game, is very simple and consists of using the WASD keys to move, Shift to run, Space to jump, C to crouch, F to flashlight and E to interact. You control the camera using the Mouse Wheel to zoom.

In terms of horror experience, he's average. Your role here is to find keys around the place to open certain doors and thus reach the exit. There are scare moments here, but nothing too big. After a while you get used to it quickly and you even notice (through sounds and their intensity) when you are being followed or not.

Despite being simple, Tudypie's work isn't bad; you can have a few scares here or there but in general terms, Sanity's Atmosphere is fun all the same. Check out the gameplay of the game by clicking on this link here and/or download it if you are interested. Just click on the page below:
