TURGOR PRESSURE: An Investigation Operation Becomes a Nightmare in this Horror Game
Turgor Pressure is a small indie horror adventure game produced by Johnny and published on July 12th of this year on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". The game was produced in 72 hours for the Haunted PS1's Summer of Shivers Weekend Jam and is primarily themed on underwater horror. Here you are in charge of piloting an ROV (Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle), descending into the deepest ocean, with the mission to track and find the members of an exploration team that disappeared after investigating an abandoned facility that disappeared.
As stated above, the game was produced in 72 hours, and as such, it is short and can be finished in a few minutes. In terms of graphics, Turgor Pressure presents visuals, textures and low-poly models, inspired by the most diverse games from Sony's first PlayStation. The movement is simple and just consists of scanning (here the commands use the WASD keys to move, Q and E to lower or raise the ROV and the arrow keys to drive the camera.) and scanning various items.
Although produced for a Jam, it's an interesting experience, and worth a few minutes. You can check the gameplay of Turgor Pressure by clicking on this link here and, if you are interested, you can download the game by clicking on the page below:
