A Tiny Light in The Dark is an indie puzzle game and first-person thriller produced by Alix Faure, for this year's Global Game Jam, and published on February 3, on the "itch.io" platform. In the game, you control Lucy, a 5-year-old girl who wakes up in the middle of the night to the sound of thunder on a rainy night. Afraid, she decides to go to her mother's room but realizes that her friend, a teddy bear named Teddy, has disappeared. It is up to her to face the darkness of the house to find him and thus sleep in her mother's room.
Made in just two days for Game Jam, the game features beautiful graphics, simple but competent gameplay, and a climate that, although not a horror, causes a certain fear. The puzzle element is up to the switches, and what are you going to do to get to them. You use all the furniture and household objects to your advantage to turn these switches on. The game is short and can be finished in a few minutes.
