Alisa: A Survival Horror Where You Must Unveil The Creepy Secrets of a Haunted Mansion

Alisa is a survival horror indie game that was created, in almost your totality, by Casper Croes and has released your demo version on November 7th, 2020. Here in this game, you control Alisa, a Royal Elite Agent that, in order to pursue a wanted criminal, ends by waking up in an ancient victorian mansion, full of doll-like beings and mysteries to be unveiled.

Right on this game, we see some strong influence from games like Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark on the game production. Alisa shows up to us with pre-rendered graphics, tank control, fixed camera, action style, running, inventory... well, the game evokes so much of the epoch's style. The same can be said of the soundtrack: the inspiration from the first Resident Evil game is so strong here, as we know that the music style and tones remember the classic soundtrack a lot. The puzzles here, although interesting, don't show some solid challenge; I hope that it can be changed on the full game.

Alisa has, no shadow of a doubt, a great potential to be considered one of the most awesome indie games to play today. It's a true ode to an era where Survival Horror gained the spotlights and propelled a rising new bunch of games and franchises of this genre until now.
