BioCrisis is an indie survival horror game produced by Spina and with a demo version published on April 10th this year, on the indie gaming platform itch.io. BioCrisis does not have a definite storyline: in this demo, you wake up after suffering a car accident and soon find yourself in an area of the city infested with zombies. Now she had to investigate the area in order to find her missing daughter.
Right away, we see that BioCrisis is strongly inspired by the classic PSX Resident Evil trilogy, everything from the start message to the pre-rendered CGI scenarios. The gameplay is tank-based, that is, you walk with the directional keys up and down while using the sides to rotate the character. There is not much to talk about here, it is survival horror in the classic sense of the word.
If I have to put a negative point here it would just be the lack of polish on the inventory, menu and initial message screens, in addition to an improvement in the title design. Other than that, in our opinion the game is very good, and we hope it will go on until it reaches the full stage.
