Branch of Sin: Gluttony is an indie survival horror game produced by MomoDevs and published on January 30 of that year, with an update released on February 1, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". The game does not have a defined plot, but the events you experience while playing indicate that you are one of the few remaining beings in a post-apocalyptic world. You roam the road during the day, but when night comes, you must take shelter in some city and stay out of the darkness, as there are strange monsters on the loose that attack those caught in the darkness. Furthermore, you strangely eat human flesh. What you are? Where are you going? Why do you always feel the need to devour?
According to the developer, this is the first chapter ("Gluttony") of a trilogy, the other two being respectively "Wrath" and "Pride", with a plot that builds up over the three games. Gluttony has very simple graphics, remembering even the first PC games made around the second half of the first decade (2005-2010).
The gameplay is also simple, typical of many indie horror games, you only use a knife and a single flashlight, with limited and rechargeable light. So it is necessary to manage the use of the flashlight well, because if it is not used well, it could end up costing you your life, being killed by the monsters.
