CONWAY: Investigate the DISAPPEARANCE of a Little Girl AT DAHLIA VIEW in This Adventure Game

Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View is a point & click, mystery and adventure game that was produced by White Paper Games and distributed by Sold Out. The game will be released on November 2 this year, on Steam, Nintendo Switch, XBox Series X/S, PS5 and PS4 platforms. In the game, you control Robert Conway, a retired private detective who investigates the disappearance of Charlotte May, an 8-year-old girl in England in the 50s. Your objective is to find the truth, and for that you have all the tools and methods, from finding clues, talking to potential suspects, searching for inconsistencies, among others.

In terms of graphics, the game is very well produced. Its production company is the same behind two acclaimed games within indie circles, Ether One and The Occupation, both using the same style of play we see here in Conway. The characters are very well animated, the voice acting is very good, and the narrative grips the player in an incredible way. In terms of gameplay, it is quite varied: there are times when you should take pictures of various situations involving the characters. Depending on the right moment, Conway ends up weaving some thoughts involving the situations. At another time, the gameplay moves to a third-person style, where you walk through the most diverse locations finding clues that take you closer to the truth.

During this process, you get into another aspect of gameplay, which is conversation. In this, you conduct the dialogue with potential suspects using intelligence and based on the information proposed by the evidence. It turns out that the choice of answer is critical here, as this could mean getting closer to the truth or ending up throwing the entire investigation into the trash.

Without a doubt, Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View aims to be an excellent mystery game, and that it is doing very well. There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing that really compromises the experience. As stated above, the game is set to come out on November 2nd this year, however you can check out the demo that was released recently. Just go to the game page on Steam below.
