Demon Burst: a short, but Impressive game with a Castlevania Aesthetic.
Updated: Nov 11, 2020
Demon Burst is a short action/platform indie game whose production was inspired by a cartridge artwork presented in the "My Famicase Exhibition" Japanese event of 2019. In this game, you are a female warrior that seeks to save your land while confronts ghosts, monsters, and demons inside of an evil tower. The game is, despite your short duration, awesome, no shadow of a doubt. It presents an aesthetic inspired by games like Castlevania, Kid Icarus, and Ghosts n' Goblins, both the 8-bit visual and soundtrack.
It's a pity that, apparently, this game was created only for exhibition in the "A Game by its Cover" 2019 event, because as I could see on Crowno's page, some games created by him can have a great potential to be excellent games, if we take into account that he is responsible for practically everything of the game.
