DUNGEONYX: Find a Way to Escape the Dungeon in this Adventure Game
dungeonyx is a short indie adventure game produced by Kenneth Dodrill for LOWREZJAM and published on August 8th of this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In dungeonyx, you are a Mute. You've been thrown into a dungeon, and now your goal is to find a way out of there.
The game was produced for the Game Jam mentioned above, whose theme is based on the production of projects that have a resolution of 64x64 pixels or less, be it 3D or 2D. And that's where we see their visual style: the graphics are very well produced. You wander through a small dungeon guided by the map located at the top left of the screen. The gameplay is a little simple: you use the WASD keys to walk around the place and use the mouse to interact with scenes and/or objects. The sound part (soundtrack and the like) is well-produced, but not very memorable.
Despite being short and produced for a Game Jam, the game has great potential, being expanded for more ideas. You can check out the dungeonyx gameplay by clicking on this link here and, if you are interested, you can download the game on the page below:
