Father: The Truth is a short indie horror game that was produced by TyroByte and published on February 2nd of this year on the itch.io platform. In the game, you control a young boy who wakes up in the middle of a rainy night. You read a message left by your father, saying that he and your mother went out to dinner. However, this message is questioned after seeing bloodstains on the wall of the house, in addition to strange sounds coming from other places. It's up to you to unravel the secrets that happen in the house while you sleep.

Here we have a horror game typical of many independent games of the genre, but with an aesthetic inspired by PSX games. The gameplay is very simple, consisting only of movement and interaction. You go through the interior of the entire house, exploring it for clues that lead to unraveling the main mystery. The atmosphere of horror provided here in the game is very interesting, not using jumpscares.
