Get Out Alive is an indie action, horror, and survival game in first person produced by Owl Nest Studios and published on February 3rd of this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". The game follows an episodic format, with the first episode released entirely. Here, you control Grant, a soldier who wakes up in an abandoned spot, with an injured leg and his squad completely wiped out by bloodthirsty mutants. Your goal is to find a way to escape the building, even if you have to kill them on the way.
In terms of graphics, I can say that Get Out Alive is a well-produced game. The environments, the monsters, the carnage, all well done, with a dash of impressive realism. The gameplay is typical of many first-person shooter games, and that in no way takes away the fun that this game has. The survival aspect is well emphasized here: you try to search the entire place for ammunition, which is very scarce, but with a few well-fired shots, you can kill the monsters without spending so much bullet.
As stated above, only the first episode is available for download. It remains to wait for the next and thus understand a little more of what goes on in the game world.
