HAPPYBOI 2000: Play a Mysterious (and Banned) Handheld Console in this Survival Game

HappyBoi 2000 is a survival game produced by Mike and published on June 26 this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". The game was produced for #MiniJam83 and you control, from a first-person perspective, a HappyBoi, a handheld console that for some unknown reason has been banned in 23 countries. And now you have acquired, out of some strange curiosity, the last unit of the console. And perhaps, you will soon discover that it would have been better not to have acquired...

HappyBoi 2000 consists of three microgames within a macrogame. In these microgames, you dodge obstacles and pick up coins (depending on the microgame), which will test your speed, but in my opinion these are those infinite games, made for you to endure as much as you can until you lose. The real game starts from the moment you realize you are in the company of an "evil presence", which appears at certain times. In this case, you must roll a die that, showing values 5 and 6, pushes the monster away for a while.

The game is quite short, and can be completed in a few minutes. Besides, everything about it is simple, from the graphics to its gameplay, where you use the C, X and Space keys practically all the time. Despite that, even being a game developed for a Game Jam, it presents an interesting concept that could be better worked in a new version or in some other game.
