HE GOT SHIVVED: Investigate a Murder in a Restaurant and Find the Criminal in this Simulation Game

He Got Shivved is a short indie interactive fiction, simulation and mystery game that was produced by raidr (Leo Laughlin and Kelly Stragalas) and published on March 23th of this year on the itch.io platform. In the game, you control an unnamed detective who investigates a murder that took place in a restaurant during a blackout. Knowing that the killer is still there and that it could be anyone, you should talk to witnesses while looking for clues left at the scene.

In graphical aspects, the game is well produced (with slight visual bugs here and there). As for the gameplay, the game is very simple in its proposal: you just walk around the place and talk to the people while looking for clues. With each clue found, you'll see the conversations change all the time. A little problem here would be the lack of subtitles, to make it easier to understand what the characters are saying. In the end, He Got Shivved is short, it's simple, but it's interesting. The game has good potential, which would not be wasted if the developers decided to work towards making it a complete game.
