Lycanthorn: a game inspired by castlevania with Doom gameplay
Lycanthorn is a FPS Doom total conversion mod game inspired by Castlevania's 8-bit games with a narrative very similar to Dracula's games.
Here, you are a vampire hunter named Rain - who is also a werewolf - who has heard of a rising castle, full of powerful demons that need to be exterminated.
The game has 8 levels that become increasingly complex and a gameplay that resembles the first Castlevania games. Where you have a main and a secondary weapon that uses hearts, as well as several challenging platforms.
The music and the bosses are the highlights of the game with great compositions and unique appearances. There are even some music tracks that have sections that look identical to Castlevanias 8-bits.
