MULTIVERSUS: Beta Sign Up

MultiVersus is the new venture of Warner Bros. Games that was finally confirmed through its trailer released on November 18th this year. Produced by Player First Games, MultiVersus is a platform fighting game in the good old Super Smash Bros. style, where you control the company's trademarked characters such as Superman, Batman, Arya Stark (from Game of Thrones), Steven Universe (from the homonimous animated series) and even Shaggy (from Scooby-Doo).

The latter, in particular, have become very famous lately due to an internet meme based on 2011' "Scooby-Doo! Legend of Phantosaur" animated feature, where Shaggy single-handedly takes on and defeats a gang of bikers. Warner ended up embracing the meme, putting him in his "powerful" form in the opening of the animated feature Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of Realms, where we see Scorpion being caught by Shaggy, after making his combat moves.

As for the game itself, it was said that it will be free to play for the most varied platforms, but there will be microtransactions (more precisely for the purchase of new characters that will come over time. An recent leak apparently confirmed characters like Gandalf, from the Lord of The Rings movies trilogy and even Mad Max, from the same name movie franchise).
