PARK LANE: A Horror Experience where Something Strange is Lurking while You Wait for a Train

Park Lane is a short horror game that was produced by Joseph Whitehead for this year's Ludum Dare, and published on April 3rd on the itch.io platform. Because it's a game created for a game jam, there's not a very deep story here, in fact the game is described as a "horror experience" where you find yourself in a dark train station in the middle of the night. The train you were supposed to catch is late, and as you wait for it to arrive, you feel that something (or someone) is lurking, and it doesn't seem like a friendly presence...

There's not much to say about Park Lane, it's a game produced for a game jam, made in 48 hours, features graphics and visuals completely inspired by PSX games, which is never too much. The gameplay is completely simple, the movement takes place in only one place: the train station, you don't even explore the other side. Also, you can only interact with objects like a station map, a ticket machine, and "no smoking" signs. In the end, Park Lane functions more as an experience than a game itself.
