PODVODNIK: Find Strange Spheres in the Depths of the Ocean in this Action Game
Podvodnik is an action and survival horror game produced by SpoocleMacBoogie and with a demo version published on July 18 of that year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In Podvodnik, you control a diver who ventures into the depths of the sea, with the aim of collecting mysterious artifacts to be studied.
This demo version was released for the Haunted PS1 community game jam, Summer of Shivers. It features a visual style that draws inspiration from PSX games or the first PlayStation console, looking simple but beautiful and even nostalgic in my opinion. The gameplay is very simple and typical of the most diverse games present on Itch.io. Here you move and interact with objects like flashlights, oxygen machines, beacons and even a harpoon gun, which is used to kill sharks before they kill you.
Perhaps the only negative points I can point out here are the lack of more objects or animals present in the place. Plus a more elaborate HUD. However, remember that the game is still in the development stage, so it is certainly likely that these points will be resolved further down the road.
