Scott Pilgrim EX is a beat 'em up game with adventure elements developed by Tribute Games Inc., where Scott Pilgrim's friends have been kidnapped by a metallic antagonist, and now you, as Scott himself, must navigate portals to other worlds filled with enemies to rescue your entire band.
Scott Pilgrim EX features visuals characteristic of previous games and a strong sense of nostalgia, not only in the visuals but also in the sound, reminiscent of the 16-bit generation with familiar musical sounds. The gameplay, however, is a bit more daring and departs from the common beat 'em up genre. Here you undertake small quests while traversing portals and must face a large number of enemies in small spaces to obtain items that will open new paths and new portals.
