SIX IN THE CHAMBER: Face and Eliminate, in the Afterlife, Those Who Betrayed You in this Action Game

Six in the Chamber is a short indie third-person shooter action game that was produced by aSheedy (and collaborators) and published on January 15th of this year on the itch.io platform. In the game, you control a fallen bandit, who was murdered by his own companions, in an afterlife filled with violence, not unlike his previous life. Over the years, those who betrayed him have finally died, and they find themselves in the underworld, and now the time has come to exact his revenge on them.

Six in the Chamber features graphics that mix pixels, sprites and voxels in an interesting combination. The adventure takes place in the Wild West where you face bandits that are lurking at every moment. The gameplay features a strong emphasis on the free movement of the weapon with the Mouse, granting the player a certain freedom of handling. The Camera, which takes on a more top-down style, allows you to move freely while seeing the paths of bullets fired by enemies. At the end of each episode (the game has 3 episodes), you can choose one of five skills. In addition, during the game you can find weapons like the Shotgun and the Rifle, these but with limited ammo.

If there is one downside to this game that I could cite, it would be the lack of more episodes. The game presents a simple but very interesting story, and having more episodes (or stages) would bring more enemies, more bosses and more depth to the story, about the fallen bandit and his relationship with the old gang, or about those who killed him . The game has the potential to be more elaborate at these points.
