Slide in The Woods is a first-person horror simulation game produced by Jonny's Games and published on July 8th of this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In the game, you find a slide located in the middle of the forest. You take the opportunity and go for a ride, however, every time you go through the tubular, you will notice that there is something sinister happening in that place, and the situation worsens from the moment you find a page of a newspaper talking about a strange disappearance of people that occurred in those surroundings.
Right away, the game is very short and can be finished in a few minutes. On positive points, we can mention the visual part of the game. Its graphics have a strong influence from the low-poly visual present in the games of the first Playstation, which generates a certain nostalgia, besides being impossible to notice a certain Silent Hill influence present in this game. The gameplay is very simple, where you only need the WASD keys to move, and the mouse as the first person view. The soundtrack (if we can call it that) is very ambient, atmospheric, full of screams, macabre laughs and dark tones, which create the atmosphere of horror proposed by the game.
On the negative side, we can mention the size of the game, that is, it is very short. Another example would be the lack of more elements present in the scenarios, as they appear to be quite empty, in my opinion. Despite this, the experience is fruitful.
