SNAPTIC is a promising indie PC game featuring PSX-style visuals, developed by SNAPTIC LLC. It blends 3D platforming and puzzle elements with a story that combines technology and mystery against a 2000s aesthetic. The plot unfolds inside a laptop disconnected from the network; you play as a metallic humanoid figure that must recover the Wi-Fi password and discover what knocked out the network signal before everything gets deleted.
SNAPTIC’s gameplay stands out for its use of physics: your character can transform into a ball and utilize magnetism as a weapon to reach new platforms. Additionally, application windows can be activated to use abilities—such as revealing hidden platforms or reaching polygonal jars that serve as portals to other locations within the map.
