Sonic The Hedgehog For NES / Famicom is a Sonic The Hedgehog fangame where you play an incredible port of Sonic 1 inspired by the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive version, for Nintendo's 8-bit console.

In Sonic The Hedgehog For NES / Famicom you have impressive visuals, with lots of color, movement in scenes that, even with a color limit, impress with their quality and fidelity. Of course, many things are different from the original game and even the gameplay cannot faithfully reproduce the physics of Sonic 1, but everything that was included in this version is a demonstration of affection for the blue hedgehog. The game has very well reproduced versions of the original songs, with the addition of voice samples and sound effects that are impressive in their quality. Furthermore, the game mixes versions of the special stages and adds both the version found in the Master System game and the version that can be played in Sonic 3, allowing you to transform into both Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic by collecting the emeralds. A true show of additions in a version truly worthy of attention.
