Stares Back is a visual novel game developed by StephenW313 where you follow the story of Vivian, a woman who, after losing her job, goes into a spiral of conflicting thoughts and decides to look at the sky. There, she finds a strange nebula that hides a strange mystery.
The game is quite linear and the playable moments are only when you use the telescope where you need to find certain points and are almost always based on sounds within a large map. The illustrations are very good and the plot is quite interesting to follow, placing Stares Back in a type of psychological horror with an ending open to interpretation.
