STREET BRO: Fight Against All the Gangs Around the World in this Beat'n Up Game

Street Bro is an indie beat'n up game that is being produced by Choloco and is in development stage. A demo version was published on November 11th of this year and the premise of Street Bro is the same as many other games of the same style: You go out on the street and beat up every kind of gang that appears in front of you until you reach the boss of each stage.

In terms of graphics, the game has strong inspirations in retro, fully pixelated and even with an apparent filter that simulates the classic aesthetic of arcade machines from the 90s. The look is completely pixelated and has strong inspirations from games of the time, such as Bad Dudes, Final Fight, Street of Rage, among others. The gameplay is very simple, with movement, jump and attack buttons. Perhaps the only problem I can point to in Street Bro would be the use of the engine here. Apparently, the engine is made in Flash, and in my opinion, there are better engines for games like OpenBOR.

In the end, Street Bro is a fun beat'n up, with a strong nostalgic flavor and that can be excellent, if done well. It remains to wait for the next updates. In the meantime, you can check out the gameplay and download the demo by clicking on the links below.
