Terminator 2D: No Fate is an action game developed by Bitmap Bureau where you follow the journey of John Connor, Kyle Reese, Sarah Connor, and the T-800 as they try to prevent the machine apocalypse through the evolution of Artificial Intelligence. However, the game doesn't strictly follow the canonical events, allowing the player to forge a new path.
In Terminator 2D: No Fate, you'll find excellent visuals, thanks to the great work of Bitmap Bureau, especially in the cutscenes and opening sequence, where the sprite art receives an even greater level of detail. In-game, the visuals are more impressive in the environments, while the character art is more modest.
The game features 12 main stages, but these can take new turns after you finish the game once. You can make new decisions at key moments in the plot, generating new paths seen only in this game and greatly enhancing the gameplay. The soundtrack is also pleasing and even manages to retain original tracks from the Terminator 2 movie. Unfortunately, Arnold Schwarzenegger's image is not in the game.
