THE HOUSE BY THE LAKE: Relive Your Last Moments Before Your Disappearance in This Horror Game

The House by The Lake is an indie horror game produced by Shatter Glass Games and published on the 28th of January, being updated today, the 30th of the same month, on its page on the "itch.io" platform. In the game, we are introduced to a short story: A man named Jason Lee disappeared without a trace. His best friend informed the police about the constant threats that Jason had been suffering from an individual with whom he had a disagreement in a supermarket. There was a search of Jason's apartment for more news about his whereabouts but to no avail and, after a year, the case was closed due to the lack of clues as to his whereabouts.

As far as it is possible to understand, we control Jason Lee himself, moments before disappearing without a trace. The game has good graphics and a look that simulates an almost pixelated style, referring to older games. I don't need to say much about the gameplay: it is exactly what you can expect from many indie horror games in the first person, and yes, it is completely functional and competent within the game's proposal.

To date, the game is under development, but it is still worth checking out the demo and getting an experience worthy of horror, which will certainly be better as soon as the full version comes out.
