THE SUN SHINES RED: Enter an Experience That Will Show You Your True Nature in this Horror Game

The Sun Shines Red is a short indie survival and psychological horror first person game that was produced by Matthew Ager and published on May 6th of this year, on the itch.io platform. In the game, you become a voluntary participant in the Apophis project, which aims to extract the true nature of your being, through some tests. Some of them will be mild, others, however, will apparently cause you some discomfort.

And once again, Matthew Ager brings us a very different game, with a surreal style, even if we remember the other games created by him, such as Food for Pigs and Fear Tapes. Visually, Matthew brings us something more outside of the retro PSX aesthetic, namely something cleaner. The whole horror element is more of perception, like the out-of-focus filter or even the ambient sounds. As for the gameplay, there is no difference in relation to other games produced by him. You just move, look around and interact with the mouse.
