The Thing Beneath is a first-person PSX survival horror game developed by Studio Laaya, Reaktori, Axel Kulomaa, Rong_Z where you and your friends decide to relax on an isolated island and discover an abandoned house. However, a mysterious killer is in place, putting the tour in danger.
In The Thing Beneath you have PSX visuals and an interesting way of telling the plot, reminiscent of slash horror films from the 80s, but with simple gameplay where you just interact with the characters and perform small tasks while the plot develops. There is a small questionable mechanic within the game but it is repeated only to show something new within a horror game and is not reflected in the plot.
