TV NIGHT: A Horror Game in which You find VHS Tapes while a Mysterious Being Haunts Your Home
TV Night is a first-person simulation and horror game produced by davidrodmad and published on December 18, 2019, and updated on October 2, 2020, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". In the game, you control a child who, after seeing that his parents went to sleep, decides to go to the living room to watch cartoons on TV until late. However, when you arrive, you discover that not only is the TV on, but a VHS tape is glued to the back of the TV. When you put this tape on to watch, you receive a sinister message that asks you to find other tapes throughout the house.
The game features a low poly look that takes a lot of inspiration from PSX games, a classic 32-Bit console. The gameplay is no different than many indie games of the genre, since you only need to use the WASD keys to move and the Mouse to look and interact.
