æ: A Thriller Game Which You Explore a Land Of Ashes, Devastated by Flames

æ is a simulation, exploration and psychological horror indie game produced by colorfiction and published on April 3rd this year, on the indie gaming platform itch.io. æ puts you in a dark environment, in the middle of a blizzard, after witnessing strange shapes and voices. Your goal is to find the 5 glyphs of silence and cross the dead river with Wōden.

This game has already passed through the channel last year, through an excellent work of the Haunted PS1 community, The Madvent Calendar 2020, made especially for the month of December. There, æ was released as a simple, unpretentious demo, with a very confusing visual and narrative style. And now that the full version has been released, the channel has been able to play it and... well, it is still confused in its plot and visuals, but at least there is a definite goal.

The gameplay is simple, as you only move through the different scenarios behind the 5 glyphs. The soundtrack is more focused on the environment, full of dissonant sounds that vary with time. In addition, there are specific sounds coming from the statues, which can be heard as you roam the scenery.
