APEX-07 is a first-person sci-fi survival horror game with PSX visuals developed by notsospecialgames. You play as a space crew member who was supposed to make minor repairs to solar panels on a space station, but something hits the structure, and your partner, who was supposed to be on the station supporting you, mysteriously disappears. Now everything seems to be consumed by something organic, and you need to find a way to escape alive.
APEX-07 features interesting PSX visuals that can be improved to PS2-level visuals by the developer. Gameplay consists of exploring rooms, interacting with objects, and at a certain point, surviving using a weapon found on the ground while facing alien life forms that seem to have entered the space structure. The game has an interesting atmosphere and manages to convey a very compelling sense of solitude in space.
