IVOR: Get Revenge for a Crime You Didn't Commit in this Frantic FPS Game

IVOR is a very short indie first person shooter action game that was produced by MoonShot Group and published on November 29th of this year, on the indie gaming platform In IVOR, you control a warrior known as "The Drengr", who was wrongfully taken to rot in prison. However, one day, he was released by some unknown force, and not only that, but he also discovers that Al-Father has created an army of the undead and that, to secure the plan, he forged crimes about him, which ended the leading to prison. Now, loose and enraged, it's up to you to escape the prison, killing whatever lies ahead.

IVOR was created for E1M1 Magazine's 2nd Game Jam, focused on creating retro shooters in an unconventional way. Furthermore, the game was created taking inspiration from the Norse stories and culture of the Vikings. In visual aspects, IVOR would impress those who grew up playing older FPSs, like Quake and Hexen II, as both IVOR and the aforementioned have low-poly graphics that give that nostalgic atmosphere. The gameplay matches this nostalgic mood, featuring commands that were quite common in games at that time.

Perhaps the only downside here would be the fact that IVOR only has a single stage, which is a shame as I think they captured the vibe of the Old School FPS games pretty well. It has a lot of potential to be a complete adventure. Check out the gameplay of IVOR and, if you are interested, download the game by clicking on the links below.
