NonZero is an indie survival and psychological horror game in the first person produced by Jivapeira and published on February 26th of this year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". You control a space colonizer that wakes up inside the "Helix", an interstellar cruiser that roams the galaxy in the hope of finding and colonizing some planet that has characteristics that make it habitable. However, a strange anomaly occurs during the journey, causing problems in the hibernation chambers and altering the spacecraft's primary course. Now it's up to you to investigate what happened and find a way to direct your ship to your desired destination.
Visually, the game is very beautiful. The graphics are realistic and well polished. The gameplay is simple, but it fulfills the purpose of the game. My only annoyance is with the lighting: there is a certain exaggeration of lights in various areas within the game, to the point of even obscuring the light of the flashlight and causing discomfort. It would be a good idea if the producer can improve this in an update, in addition, of course, to expand the content of the game a little more.
NonZero is very short and can be finished in less than 20 minutes. Check out the gameplay of the game by clicking on this link here and take the opportunity to download it from the "itch.io" page below:
