POIURA: Help a Humble Baker to survive on the Outer Edge and a Imminent End of the World

Poiura is a small third-person indie adventure shooter that was produced by Thuleanx and DylanDavis, and which was published on May 15th of this year, on the itch.io platform. In the game, you control a humble baker in a town that is slowly being consumed by a strange barrier, with an endless void on the other side. One night, you wake up to find a religious leader leaving town and disappearing through the barrier. Now it's up to you to investigate what lies beyond the barriers.

The game was produced for Narrative Game Jam 3 for obvious reasons: Poiura is very narrative focused, although it has a very simple gameplay. In terms of graphics, it presents a very simple pixelated 2D look, clean and beautiful at the same time. The gameplay just consists of using the WASD keys to walk, R to reload, and the Mouse to both interact and to aim and shoot.

While there's a lack of slightly more robust content (the endings are pretty much the same, with slight dialog differences apparently), for a game created for a game jam, Poiura is simple but interesting.
