PRESS W TO MOVE FOWARD: a 5-minute horror game that criticizes social pressure and surveillance.
Press W To Move Forward is a short experimental surreal horror game developed by Nil Knight where you move your character just by pressing W, with occasional mouse movements. The game is a critique of social pressure, surveillance, and progress where you think you have control over your life, but follow a script that repeats itself until your death.
The game has good visuals that vary between PSX era games, with high resolution visuals. There is also use of stop motion and the 3d models of characters are purposely "badly made" to generate some kind of image distortion following the developer's proposal.
