THE DISH IS OUT: Odd Things Happen During a Dish Repair during a Blizzard in the Middle of Night
The Dish is Out is a short indie first-person adventure horror game that was produced by Jon Harwood Games and published on October 28th of this year, on the indie gaming platform itch.io. In The Dish is Out, you are a person working to repair a satellite dish in the middle of a blizzard. You are woken up in the middle of the night by your coworker, who says the dish needs repair, and you go to work. However, strange things happen in the dark, and your coworker may not be what he seems.
In terms of graphics, The Dish Is Out features an almost retro, low-poly look that is more or less reminiscent of PC games from the late 90s and early 2000s. The look in my opinion is excellent. As for gameplay, there's not much to talk about here, it's extremely simple, and typical of many other indie simulation or horror games. To extend the replay factor a little more, you have a not-too-open field with seven hidden tapes, which you need to find.
