TRUMPETS: Unravel the Mystery of the Sound of Trumpets in the Sky in this Horror Game

Trumpets is a short indie simulation and psychological horror game produced by TBit Coding and with a demo version published on August 27th of that year, on the indie gaming platform "itch.io". Trumpets take place in a world that has been affected by a strange phenomenon that happens in the sky: strange sounds like trumpets began to echo throughout the sky, causing panic and confusion in humanity. Furthermore, it was noted that several locations were affected by this event. You find yourself in one of these places, and it's up to you to find a way out.

There's not much to say here about Trumpets, in my opinion. The game presents simplicity in all aspects, even in its narrative (full of mysteries), at least here this part is very interesting, if it's the game's creator's idea. The most we know here is that you try to find a way to get to the end of the demo by being guided by the sounds you get by picking up CDs located at some points in the game. The use of horror was, in a way, surprising. There are times when the horror happens unexpectedly, which worked really well here.

UPDATE v1.0 (10/18/2021): Trumpets recently received a massive update. The entitled "Version 1.0" of the demo brought many new features, ranging from a greater focus on theme and story to a secret ending, which can only be accessed at a certain point, as well as improvements in lighting and sound design. Despite the improvements, it is worth remembering that the game is still in the development stage, and until the release of the final version of the game, maybe many elements could change or be left out.
